2008 Balloon-a-thon Schedule:
Friday, August 22, 2008
- 7:30 PM Fly In
- 9:00 PM Balloon Glow
Saturday, August 23, 2008 – Sunday, August 24, 2008
- Sunrise flights out of the airport from the Ultralight airstrip on the north side of the Mount Comfort airport.
- 8:00 – ll:00 AM – Meet the Balloon Pilots-Ultra-light airstrip tent. Balloon pins, autographs, balloon tattoos and trading cards for kids. Information on how to become a balloon pilot available and spend time with a Commercial Pilot answering your questions. Get to see the balloons up close and personal.
Hot Air Balloon Rides
VIP balloon rides will be available August 19th (Tuesday) thru August 24th (Sunday) for a $250/person donation supporting the Riley Children’s Hospital. Weather permitting. All ride certificates honored if inclement weather prohibits flights at a future date.
