Visitor FAQs

Indianapolis Air Show Spectator Guidelines

For your safety – We are happy to have you here for our annual air show. We will do everything possible to ensure your experience is safe and enjoyable.

We are asking for your cooperation in helping us to maintain a safe environment. Please keep the following in mind:

  • No coolers over 14 inches long or large bags permitted.
  • All spectators are subject to search upon entering the gate.
  • No smoking allowed on airport property.
  • No weapons of any kind permitted.
  • No pets should be brought to the air show or left in cars – service animals permitted.
  • No bicycles, roller skates, roller blades, segways, children’s scooters or skateboards permitted.
  • No wheelchairs or strollers are available to rent.
  • No pop up tents or beach umbrellas allowed on airport property as they are a hazard on the field.

We recommend you bring sun screen and ear plugs. We recommend you drink plenty of water. Water will be available throughout the air show grounds.

We appreciate your help in keeping the Indianapolis Air Show safe for all patrons!

Tickets can also be purchased at the gate on the day of the event.

Proceeds benefit Central Indiana Community Foundation and support Riley Children's Foundation and Riley Hospital for Children. The Indianapolis Air Show has donated more than $1.4 million through CICF to children’s charities since the show’s inception in 1997.
